In addition to following the healthcare guidelines for individuals with Down syndrome and using the growth charts from the CDC (links can be found under “Basics of Proper Health Care” here), the Global Down Syndrome Foundation has compiled and continues to update the information for Down syndrome clinics around the country. While individuals can be seen by pediatricians, internists, and family medical providers, families may wish to seek an appointment with one of the many providers who have significant experience with Down syndrome, if there is one located nearby.
