Roxane Romanick

Roxane Romanick has dedicated her career to supporting children and families in the fields of developmental disabilities and special education. Her most meaningful learning began 27 years ago when she became the mother of a daughter with Down syndrome, an experience that continues to shape her work and advocacy. She previously served as Executive Director of Designer Genes of North Dakota, Inc., a nonprofit supporting individual with Down syndrome, their families, and the professionals who work with them. Roxane holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of North Dakota and has extensive experience in parent support, program and policy development, and advocacy at the local, state, and federal levels. She is an NDAC Member and an NDSC Policy Council Member.
