Our Policy & Advocacy team and Self-Advocate Council hosted a nonpartisan webinar on voting and elections. We discussed the current political landscape, what issues are important to people with Down syndrome and their families, and how to research candidates’ positions on these critical issues. We also talked about voting rights and accommodations and shared tips on what to do if your voting rights are threatened.
