NDSC Convention 101: A Road Map to Navigating a Successful Convention Experience
Join us tomorrow, March 12th, at 1:00 p.m. EDT, for a one-hour overview of the NDSC Convention before registration opens March 25th. Learn about the registration system, conference options for the entire family, and social and networking events so that you will be ready to register with confidence!
NDSC Staff will give you the inside scoop on each segment of the convention weekend. They will be highlighting many of the exciting details in store for the Pittsburgh convention, important travel need-to-know information, and sharing tips on registering to attend networking and social opportunities. This Convention 101 webinar is intended for first-time attendees or families who have not attended our annual convention in recent years but will benefit anyone who would like to better understand the registration process and how to get the most out of the convention weekend.
NDSC Staff members will also be available during the live session for Q&A. The webinar will be recorded and shared on ndsccenter.org for those who may not be able to attend the live session.
The 2019 Convention Workshop Schedule
The Convention Planning Committee is very excited to release the official workshop schedule for the NDSC 47th Annual Convention. More than 80 workshops will be offered over six cycles, including specialized tracks for Adult Siblings, DS-ASD, Transition, and one for Spanish speakers.

Programming for the Whole Family
The NDSC Convention is truly a family experience offering specialized programming for everyone. There is a program or conference for every audience. Click the links to be directed to the NDSC website for a full description of each program.
General Conference – Parents, grandparents, adult siblings, caregivers
Youth & Adults Conference – Self-advocates with Down syndrome ages 15 and older
Brothers & Sisters Conference – Siblings without Down syndrome in 4th through 12th grades
Kids’ Camp – Children 6 months old through 11 years without Down syndrome and up to age 14 for those with Down syndrome
Educator Conference – Teachers, para-professionals, education diagnosticians, special education Administrators, reading interventionists
Exhibitors – Businesses or service provider that have a product or service that will benefit people with Down syndrome.

We feel the excitement building as March 25th approaches and families can finally register for the 2019 NDSC Annual Convention.We strongly recommend reading the Registration Tips prior to March 25th. Please take the time to inform yourself so that you are prepared to complete your family’s registration.
