Thank you for your interest in NDSC’s Just Dance! The primary purpose of this event is to promote awareness of the value of individuals with Down syndrome, though it can also be used as a fundraiser.
Just Dance! is wonderfully flexible. Anyone can host an event – a parent, a self advocate, a brother or sister, or anyone who has a heart for promoting the value and rights of people with Down syndrome. Best of all, the host doesn’t have to be a dance expert. You can do this!
Just Dance! can be held anytime of year in just about any venue – a school gym, a college fraternity house, a country club or a cul-de-sac, and can involve participants of any age. You can have contests, even marathons. Or not. It can be as formal, or as informal as you would like. Just Dance! can be tailored to meet the needs of each host and each community.
Best of all, this event is a way that you can help spread NDSC’s “We’re More Alike Than Different” public awareness message. Our vision is for the whole Down syndrome community to embrace Just Dance! as a way to share the good news that “we are more alike” with our teachers, school principals, city officials, and neighbors.
We invite you to join us in taking this unique and fun “Just Dance!” event across the nation. Through hosting a “Just Dance!” event we can all participate in promoting inclusion of people with Down syndrome in all activities of life. By hosting this event in your community you will be joining people from across the whole United States in a celebration that recognizes the fact that WE’RE MORE ALIKE THAN DIFFERENT!
Bring NDSC’s Just Dance! home to your community… It can be done by anyone!

Just Dance! is fun, easy, exciting, flexible. It can be held indoors or out, and for any size group and any time of year. We can help you with all the details of planning this exciting event.
